Велосипед MTB 26 дюймов — один из лучших вариантов двухколесного транспорта. Его можно использовать практически на любом ландшафте. Однако важно правильно понимать, что это за байк, как его выбирать и продукции каких фирм следует отдать предпочтение.
Основные черты
«Загадочное» сокращение MTB образовано от слов mountain bike, что дословно переводится как «горный велосипед». Достоинствами таких байков являются:
- феноменально высокая проходимость (даже внедорожники, демонстрируемые в программе Top Gear, и близко не сравнятся);
- потрясающая эргономичность;
- возможность пережить неповторимые впечатления.
Но — и это тоже важное преимущество — горные велосипеды доступны всем, кто может себе позволить велосипед вообще. А вот где и когда именно появился этот вид транспорта, доподлинно уже неизвестно. Самые разные регионы мира, изобретатели и корпорации стараются перетянуть славу на себя. Потому только стоит упомянуть о самой популярной версии: согласно ей, маунтинбайки были созданы, чтобы компенсировать частично простой горнолыжных курортов летом. В любом случае, какое бы предположение ни было верным, эти устройства появились на рубеже 1970—1980 годов и первоначально были предназначены для покорения любых трасс вообще.
Классические колеса величиной 26 дюймов и шириной 2 дюйма используются неслучайно: именно они лучше всего подходят для преодоления самых разных преград. Рама сконструирована с расчетом на максимальный отрыв педалей от поверхности.
Обязательной чертой горного велосипеда выступают также дисковые тормоза и большое число передач. В результате получается «универсальный» аппарат, позволяющий даже быстро передвигаться по шоссе. Но разница между отдельными моделями все же довольно велика.
Разновидности велосипедов MTB
Разница между маунтинбайками выражается прежде всего в типе подвески. Ригиды, или бесподвесные устройства, не раскачиваются и обеспечивают очень легкий ход. Это свойство весьма ценно для профессиональных спортсменов, особенно гонщиков.
А вот начинающим велосипедистам и тем, кто не хочет заниматься ездой профессионально, требуется выбирать иные форматы подвесок. Хардтейл — это велосипед с единственной передней подвеской.
Такой транспорт по характеристикам устроит любых ездоков. Он отличается:
- дешевизной;
- легкостью;
- простотой управления.
Отмечается усиленная амортизация, которая делает поездку комфортнее, не нарушая ходовых параметров байка. Как профессионал, так и начинающий велосипедист высоко оценят сбалансированность хардтейла.
А вот двухподвес не слишком хорош. У него слишком мощная амортизация, из-за которой каркас сильно раскачивается. В результате управление педалями затруднено и велосипедная цепь изнашивается неоправданно быстро.
Двухподвесы более или менее приличного класса отличаются большой тяжестью (от 20 до 23 кг). Стоимость таких байков тоже велика. Вернее, есть более дешевые версии, однако качество металла у них не слишком высоко. Иной раз материал разрушается после нескольких падений. Потому двухподвес — дорогой и недешевый вариант.
Какую модель лучше выбрать?
Решающее значение имеет вид тормозов. «Ви-брейк» легок и стоит сравнительно немного. Этот тормоз несложно отремонтировать, поскольку подходящие детали продаются во всех городах. Однако отрицательными сторонами V-brake являются недостаточная долговечность и риск повреждения обода. Подобрать тормоза на велосипеды с колесами 26 дюймов не составит труда.
Надо учитывать, что V-brake не годится для экстремальных заездов. Однако, судя по отзывам, эти тормозные системы понравятся любителям спокойных выездов на шоссе и на участки с легким бездорожьем.
Полностью противоположны будут по характеристикам дисковые тормоза. За них придется платить больше, а сама тормозная система тяжеловесна, в результате чего управлять ей нелегко. Но все эти недостатки полностью перекрываются исключительной надежностью.
Именно дисковый тормоз отлично проявляет себя на холмистой и лесной местностях.
Правда, если планируется ездить только по шоссе, он будет явным излишеством.
Что касается трансмиссий, то однозначное предпочтение нужно отдать изделиям марок Sram, Shimano. Любителям просто ездить достаточно 12 скоростей. Байки с 21—27 скоростями нужны преимущественно экстремалам и профессиональным спортсменам.
Габариты велосипеда все должны подбирать сами под себя. Хорошей моделью заслуженно считается Corto Suv. Этот маунтинбайк рассчитан только на взрослых ездоков, пригоден для перемещения в стиле кросс-кантри. Рама изготовлена из добротного сплава на основе алюминия. Ее размер колеблется от 15,5 до 21 дюйма.
Ход пружинно-эластомерной вилки равен 0,08 м. Для изготовления обода использован алюминиевый сплав. Передний тормоз V-brake относится к прогулочному типу. Точно так же устроен и задний тормоз. В кассете содержится 7 звезд, предусмотрена также и подножка.
Stels Navigator 600 V тоже довольно хорош. Масса этого велосипеда равна 15,4 кг. Привод выполнен по цепному типу, а амортизация соответствует классу хардтейл. Ход пружинно-эластомерной вилки Zoom 386 составляет 0,06 м. Обособленная рулевая колонка имеет резьбу, а бортировочный шнур сделан из металла.
Прочие параметры таковы:
- 18 скоростей;
- начальные манетки в виде вращающейся ручки;
- прогулочные неинтегрированные каретки;
- 6 звезд в кассете;
- педали классического типа.
Внимания заслуживает и «Десна 2610 MD». Этот маунтинбайк также пригоден для кросс-кантри. Рама изготавливается из крепкой отборной стали. Ход вилки FSD составляет 0,06 м, а ширина покрышек равна 1,95 дюйма. Предусмотрен двойной обод и передний тормоз 0,16 м.
